It’s Valentine’s Day in Port Charles and romance is rising…for some, anyway. Love is in the air for several couples — Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), as well as Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), turn up the heat on romance.
Are we about to see a love connection between Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) and Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten)? Maybe! While those two flirt it up, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) works to stomp on Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) cheating heart. Does she have something dangerous in the works? Should Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) be shaking in their boots? See it all for yourself in the sneak peek video below.
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
