It looks like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is flexing his power in front of “Mike’s” former love Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), as she wonders if he plans to use that power to keep her out of prison. After all, he’s not the one who is trying to cause trouble for her and it looks like he can’t leave her to the wolves to solve this problem on her own.
Meanwhile, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) confides in Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) that if she wants her marriage to Sonny to work, she’s going to have to put her feelings for her almost-husband and BFF Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) aside. Yet, Jason faces mortal danger from Peter August (Wes Ramsey), as do Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Who will live, who will die? More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It is one of four soap operas currently on the air.
