Enough is enough when it comes to Peter August (Wes Ramsey). The maniac murderer has crossed too many lines and he needs to pay. There’s no time like the present. Peter is down and out after the incident with his food so this is the perfect time to strike.

The question is, who will do the deed? Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) made the deal of the century to kill the baddie, but he’s not dead yet. Will Selina Wu (Lydia Look) finish the job? Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) have strong reasons to want to see him dead. Peter has many, many enemies and all of them are on the rise. General Hospital History

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.

Bringing the Drama

More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It is one of four soap operas currently on the air.
