GH Spoilers Speculation: Trina Robinson’s Future Is In Jeopardy

GH spoilers have us feeling pity for poor Trina Robinson on General. She’s on trial for a crime we know she didn’t commit, and she’d rather protect a guy who treated her like crap rather than herself, while we wonder why no one is asking the question of how a young, healthy teen could black out from a single drink?

But even if this case goes her way and she is able to avoid the scary stuff we know prison life would cause, General Hospital spoilers point to even more dangers in her future:

General Hospital: Mental Health

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is worried that the stress of being on trial could cause Trina (Tabyana Ali) to have a breakdown. Any mother would worry under the circumstances. But as she and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) discussed his schizophrenia diagnosis, we couldn’t help feeling the anvils falling from the sky and smacking up over the head.

GH Spoilers: Blood Will Tell

The odds of coming down with schizophrenia with no family history of the disease is around 1%. The odds of getting it if your parent or sibling has it goes up by 10%. If both your parents have it, you have a 40% chance of getting it. So Trina is in the clear, right? She’s not at risk!

GH: Stating the Obvious

So what are your odds if, say, a grandparent has it? Why that would be 3%.

We don’t know anything about either Portia or Marcus Taggert’s (Real Andrews) parents, but we figure we’d have heard if one of them were mentally ill…

Then again, why was Portia having this conversation with Marshall? Marshall is Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) father. And Curtis is Portia’s current love interest, he has nothing to do with Trina’s biology…

Unless, of course – ow, there goes that anvil, again – the affair Curtis and Portia had back in the day produced Trina? We don’t have that speculation confirmed yet, but Portia all but said as much to Jordan when she was delirious. So, no wonder Mom is worried!
