Nina and Willow
GH spoilers promised us that Nina Reeves and Willow Tait would finally learn that they were mother and daughter, and they finally delivered!
Carly Spencer’s house of lies is collapsing on a daily basis, but the big question still out there is how Willow will react to the news. What almost 4,000 voters are expecting to happen:
Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) will never accept it, 9% of you are predicting. This is the woman who was willing to die rather than tell family and friends that she had cancer and is OK with her son losing his mother in order to give birth to Wiley’s sister…somehow missing the part where if she dies, her unborn baby dies, too. With that level of stubbornness and logic, we can see Willow not just denying Nina (Cynthia Watros) as her mother, but refusing to so much as accept a bone marrow transplant from her. To really drive her stupid point home.
Willow isn’t thinking straight now, 43% of the audience agrees, but once she’s recovered and has her baby girl, she’ll be in a better frame of mind, and she’ll be able to see things more from Nina’s perspective. They’ll eventually have a relationship, but Willow needs to process all of her current troubles first.
Willow will acknowledge that Nina gave birth to her, 48% of fans are feeling generous, but she will never consider her a mother. Not just because of Willow’s loyalty to Harmony – the adoptive mother who she forgave for raising her in an abusive cult – but because what Nina did was worse than that. Nina made Willow’s fiance, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), sad. And that is a crime no amount of bone marrow and groveling can ever make up for.
