The General Hospital recap features a grim outlook for Willow Tait as doctors hope they can find a bone marrow match in time to save her.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

In this episode, Michael’s family gathered at the hospital to support him after learning the news about Willow as Drew tried to convince Carly to do the right thing. Brook Lynn and Chase took over babysitting duties from Sonny and Nina, so they headed over to the hospital while Chase and BLQ spent some time bonding. Cody and Sasha also had bonding time over at the main house, where Cody was surprised to hear all about Sasha’s mother-in-law. Finally, Cameron told Elizabeth all about his breakup, and she had some sage advice. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

Willow Tait Needs Bone Marrow Help

Carly (Laura Wright), Drew (Cameron Mathison), and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) rushed to General Hospital as soon as they learned that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was brought in by ambulance, and Terry (Cassandra James) delivered the grim news. The baby was fine, but Willow was running out of time to find a donor, and she wasn’t sure if experimental treatments would work. Drew questioned Michael about the donor he believed they found, and Michael had to confess that it didn’t work out.

Drew had already been telling Carly that she needed to tell Willow and Nina the truth. Learning that Nina might be Willow’s only option is what convinced Carly it was time to spill the secret she had no business keeping. Carly first tried to tell Willow, but she wouldn’t wake up, so she then found Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) in the chapel and asked to speak to Nina alone.

General Hospital Recap: Wiley Has Lots Of Babysitters

Before Sonny and Nina got to the hospital, they played Grandma and Grandpa, babysitting Wiley. Then, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) showed up to take over and learned Willow had cancer before the grandparents left. Brook Lynn managed to get Wiley to brush his teeth by paying him as parents often have to do, but then Wiley asked why his mommy would call Grandma Nina a bad person. Brook Lynn was surprised Willow would say such a thing to a little boy, so she told them Nina had made mistakes, but that didn’t make her a bad person.

Brook Lynn told Chase he could go be with Willow and lend his support, but he thought he would only be getting in the way and opted to stay with BLQ and read Wiley a bedtime story. Soon, Wiley and Brook Lynn were asleep.

Over at the main house, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody (Josh Kelly) shared a snack while Sasha filled him in on her tragic and tortured life. Cody was then surprised that Sasha had a mother-in-law named Gladys as he remembers someone named Gladys from Selina Wu’s poker games.

GH Recap: Cameron Melts Down With Elizabeth

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) stopped by Kelly’s to check on Cameron (William Lipton) because she has noticed something off with him. When the topic of Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) came up, Cam got angry and announced he didn’t care what happened to her and he hoped she’d go to jail for a very long time. Liz asked Cam what was really bothering him, so he finally told her that he and Josslyn broke up, and he blamed it all on Esme’s sex video.

Liz had to point out that people don’t usually break up for one reason, and he had kept from Josslyn about Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), pretending to believe Esme had nothing to do with the sex video. Cam admitted that his mother had a point, but he was still heartbroken.
