GH Spoilers Speculation: How Curtis Ashford Will Handle Portia’s Lies

GH spoilers suggest that Curtis Ashford will have plenty to say to his new wife now that the truth is out. Portia never got around to telling Curtis that he would be her daughter’s father.

Not when they first had their affair 20 years ago. Not when they reconnected in Port Charles. Not when she agreed to marry him. Portia’s (Brook Kerr) paternity secret came out on her wedding day to Curtis (Donnell Turner). And here is how viewers predict it to play out.

General Hospital: Cool Runnings

Curtis did the right thing by stepping out for some air, 27% of the audience has decided. He needed to take time to think things through. And, frankly, he needed to just cool off. No one can react rationally in the heat of the moment. Portia has had 20 years to come up with excuses for why she lied. The least he owed her was to listen to all of them, which he pretty much did. You fully expect to see him forgive her once he’s cooled down.

GH Spoilers: Even Steven

A slightly larger 29% of you speculate that Curtis will forgive Portia — right after he forgives Jordan (Tanisha Harper). Not just for Jordan knowing about Trina (Tabyana Ali) and not telling Curtis, but for all the lies Curtis has held against Jordan in the past. Curtis dumped Jordan because she told a lie having to do with police work. That seems to be a much, much lesser crime than what Portia did. So, you know, if he can actually forgive Jordan, Portia stands a better shot — you know, good goose, good gander, good grief.

Curtis doesn’t know how to forgive, a cynical 44% remind. You predict that it’s just not in the guy’s DNA. (And speaking of DNA: Anyone want to test Trina’s? You know, before getting all hysterical?) He couldn’t forgive Jordan for keeping privileged information privileged. How could he possibly forgive Portia for hiding something that was actually his business this time?
