GH Spoilers Speculation: Carly Gets Tougher On Nina

GH spoilers floated the idea that, now that they shared grandchildren, Carly might start to warm up a bit to Nina. She’d never love her. Heck, she’d never even like her. However, she might be willing to tolerate her — for Michael, Willow, Wiley, and Amelia’s sakes, if nothing else. That was before Nina dared turn Carly and Drew in for a crime they committed, though. Now, nothing will ever soften Carly’s attitude towards her longtime foe.

GH Spoilers Speculation: Someone That I Used to Love

The possibility of a thaw first reared its head when Carly (Laura Wright) fell for Drew (Cameron Mathison). He is the most wonderful man she has ever known. Now that she has him, it’s Sonny (Maurice Benard) Who? Carly’s rage towards Nina (Cynthia Watros) stemmed from Nina keeping the fact of Sonny being alive a secret. That, and Sonny falling for Nina during the time he’d forgotten Carly. Since Carly has traded up, there should be no more reason for her to even think about Nina. Right?

General Hospital: Darkest Before Dawn

The soapiest scenario, of course, is for Carly to decide to give Nina the benefit of the doubt. She’ll extend an olive branch and even take a happy family photo. Good times. Until they aren’t. No sooner do they snap some happy pics than the truth comes out about Nina turning Carly and Drew over to the SEC. That way, the betrayal feels more vicious and elicits maximum drama.

GH: Why Bother?

That’s not Carly’s style. Carly’s style is to sink her teeth into something and to hold on like a victim of lockjaw. When Carly loves you, she loves you forever. And, when Carly hates you? Same thing. Once Carly makes up her mind about something, little things like facts only muddy the waters. Carly has made up her mind about Nina: She is the devil incarnate. Carly will never, ever cut her any slack. Especially now.
