GH spoilers for Tuesday, September 28, 2021, reveal unfortunate news spreading, a prisoner finding a new ally, two spies getting closer, and so much more. You won’t want to miss a surprising moment of this new episode.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was playing with fire when she decided to keep Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) away from his family, and now news of that betrayal is making the rounds of Port Charles — and things are about to get pretty uncomfortable for the head of Crimson. She may be surprised by who ends up spreading the news — and to whom.
First up is Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who encourages everyone to lead with compassion as she then spills all of her sister-in-law’s tea to the one person it hurt the most — Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). As she begins her spillage, Carly tells her that she wants to know what Nina knew — and when — as her eyes narrow. This is the information she’s been missing and she wants to hear it all.
While Carly gets filled in by Maxie, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) tells Sonny it’s not his fault that he was missing for nine months. Sonny knows that! He responds by telling him it’s Nina’s. Wait, what?! Jason is sure to have a lot of questions (well, maybe not a lot — it is still Jason) about how this whole thing went down and what Carly will end up doing about it.
Nina heads to the Quartermaine mansion where she’ll find Michael Corinthos Quartermaine (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) are closer than ever, delighting in parenting together. When Nina comes by, she’s a mess and Willow manages to pick up on it. She asks Michael if he also felt something was going on with Nina but it’s Michael, so odds aren’t good he realized anything was amiss.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is still working with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) but the two take a break from their spy missions to have a drink together. Valentin takes advantage of a moment of liquid courage as he tells Anna that tonight, he’s saying everything. Will these two finally take a step toward romance or will it end up being two steps back?
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) forms an unexpected alliance when she and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) run into each other. He wonders who managed to capture her while Drew grows impatient with his circumstances. He wants to get back to his family. So does Liesl. Will they be able to outwit their horrible hosts and get back to Port Charles?
