GH spoilers for Thursday, September 23, 2021, reveal news of a heartbreak, reunion, confession, and so much more. You won’t want to miss an explosive moment of this new episode.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) heads to the boxing gym to blow off steam where, of course, she runs into Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) doing the same. How odd, since didn’t he just get married to Carly Corinthos last night? Looks like Jason will read her in on the resurrection of Sonny Corinthos. Britt’s no fool and asks him how can he just shut off those feelings once you have them. She’s obviously asking for a friend.
Carly (Laura Wright) has had quite a 24 hours as she and Sonny (Maurice Benard) continue to catch up on everything (okay, probably not everything) and he makes a promise not to leave her again. Considering the secret she’s holding back about her reignited feelings for Jason, she tells Sonny there’s no guarantee he can keep that promise.
Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) has put the pieces together and realizes she now knows the truth. To that end, she asks Cameron Webber (William Lipton) for help in exposing Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) as Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) stalker. Elsewhere, Esme asks Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) if his profession has helped him find the answers he’s been searching for.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) tries to make things right with his son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Spencer tells him he’s still not sure this is going to work. Is his guilt about doing everything in his power to torpedo his father’s marriage to Ava causing him to have a case of the guilts? Who even know Spence was capable of that.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) knows a thing or two about feeling guilty. As she confides in sister-in-law Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she tells her that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) being back in her life and causing her trouble — well, it’s all her fault. And she wouldn’t be wrong about that. Nina could have warned Maxie long ago. Will she share that particular nugget too?
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is determined to clean up Nina’s mess, which is also partially his mess and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes), as he tells Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) that’s not the only bad decision she’s made. But does he mean Nina — or Anna, the latter of whom receives a chilling phone call.
