GH spoilers for Friday, September 17, 2021, reveal a worried love, a worried son, a worry of growing danger, and so much more. You won’t want to miss an explosive moment of this new episode.
Carly Corinthos Morgan (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) say their vows and are ready to begin their life together, but that doesn’t always mean a happy ending. As most fans recall, there was another wedding once — between Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil), and just as they clinked champagne glasses, Sonny Corinthos’s limo exploded, killing his wife, Lily (Lilly Melgar).
Will history repeat itself? The Five Families are in position at this wedding, plotting against the new power couple. Bad mobsters Vincent Novak and Charles Buscema set their plan into action. But what exactly do they have in store? Surely they don’t intend to put their own lives in danger so will they be hitting another target?
If only they knew what was going on in Nixon Falls. GH spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) anxiously awaits word, hoping that Mike is alive. Mike went down for the count in that fire — but Sonny Corinthos is the one who woke up and screamed out Carly’s name. As they all wait outside, Nina tells Jax they have to get Sonny out before it’s too late.
Back at the chapel, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) makes sure the wedding remains on schedule but she tells Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) that she can’t help but wonder why Jax was trying to call her. If she can sit there talking to Austin, perhaps she should try calling Jax back so she can do what she needs to do to protect her family from Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is also about protecting family so he steps in to take care of Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). He can’t help but be worried. This wedding is the average wedding and too much attention has been made to his having worked for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Will he realize a plot is afoot in time?
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) continue to talk about Austin and his butting his nose in about Leo. Ned thinks he may have made headway and asks Olivia if she does approve now. By the look on her face, he probably shouldn’t count on it.
