GH spoilers for Thursday, September 16, 2021, reveal a ceremony set to begin, lives about to end, a surprise return, and so much more. You won’t want to miss a shocking moment of this new episode.
Friends and family gather for Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) wedding ceremony, While there are certainly plenty of those they love and who love them in attendance, this, of course, is not your average Port Charles wedding to remember. This is a spectacle meant to make a statement. At least that’s Carly and Jason’s take.
To that end, the heads of the Five Families also arrive and connect with each other, making clear a plot is afoot. And while most know that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is a dark cloud hanging over the event, what he has put into motion may shock everyone. One mobster even approaches Jason and he says something that almost sounds like an apology. They apparently are laying it on thick to throw Jason off the scent. In the meantime, the ceremony begins — but how long until the fireworks?
Sadly, the fireworks already went off, so to speak, in Nixon Falls. The horrific situation at the Tan-O becomes desperate with plenty of lives hanging in the balance — especially Sonny’s (Maurice Benard). Peter August (Wes Ramsey) set things in motion in his effort to exact revenge against Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for double-crossing him but will her “Mike” pay the price?
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) tells Carly, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), and Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) it’s time to get this show on the road, but GH spoilers reveal that she gets a call from Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) at an inopportune time. Nina is losing it because Mike is still in there. Does this mean he gets out and Jax has a warning for those at the wedding? A surprising return of an old friend changes everything.
But even more is going on. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) tells his mom, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and her mafioso date that Jason deserves his share of happiness as well while someone questions Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), and he says he can neither confirm nor deny.
That’s not all — Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) tells Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) that Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) may be onto something where it comes to her son, Leo. Elsewhere, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) finally get a moment to talk before the wedding starts and she lets him know it’s been quite a day. We have a feeling it’s about to get a lot worse.
