GH spoilers for Tuesday, July 6, 2021, reveal a shocking new pair, a much-needed apology, brewing trouble, and so much more. You won’t want to miss a dramatic moment of this new episode.
While the audience now knows that the young man stalking Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is his own son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), he’s just the cute guy who works at The Savoy. They run into each other again when Spencer is sunning himself on the pier and sparks are definitely flying. He suggests they go for a swim but she doesn’t have a suit. He suggests that her birthday suit would do and she demurs, of course. She invites him to instead meet her friends and while it seems like he may go, of course, Spencer is not up for meeting them since he already knows them. When she finds out he’s not really “Victor,” will this promising romance end before it begins?
Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton) have told most of the people in their lives that they’re engaged but there’s one more very important person who needs to hear. They break the news of their engagement to her daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). She will take the news well, though her mother’s a little disappointed by how cynical about love her teen is already about love. With that over, Jason and Carly get word that Novak is at the Metro Court, so after getting an engagement ring from Jason, Carly slips it on her finger and her fingers in his hand, and they make a show for the rival crime lord. But there was one thing they weren’t counting on.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) may still be nursing a broken heart, courtesy of Jason Morgan, but that doesn’t mean she’s not ready to move forward and experience what life has to offer. In fact, she makes plans to watch the fireworks with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) after they spent the night together. They are all smiles and giggles in the elevator as they hit the Metro Court and see Carly and Jason there. Jason is taken by surprise to see the sight before him.
Two other women left as roadkill on the road to Jason and Carly Corinthos, Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), find themselves in a bit of trouble after Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) callously spreads the gossip about his mom’s engagement to Jason. The news shocks both of his exes and considering the women are doing shots, their getting in trouble shouldn’t be too surprising. Liz tries to help Sam get Jason out of her heart by ceremoniously burning a few things from him.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Liz’s kids, on the other hand, are not having fun. Cameron Webber (William Lipton) has finally made up with Joss about not believing her that Jason was innocent and now it’s time he apologizes to his younger brother Jake (Hudson West). But will a simple apology be enough to mend the deep wound and suffering he caused? Jake doesn’t take it well but Cam shares how being angry was easier than being sad and that moves Jake. The two brothers reach a new understanding as they continue to mourn Franco.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) confronts Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who admits she can’t help herself when it comes to being drawn to see her daughter. It’s causing her to take bigger and bigger risks and that’s not smart. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) has noticed Maxie coming around and warns BLQ that this is not a good thing or healthy thing for the grieving mother to do. She tries to get Maxie to back off but that’s easier said than done.
British Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Greek (?) Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) get into the July 4th spirit too and put aside their mystery of the moment to celebrate the holiday. GH spoilers reveal that sparks ignite as these two super spies get caught up in the moment when a sparkler singes poor Anna’s fingers. Valentin does his best to make them feel better with his lips — and they travel to hers! Vanna fans, start your shipper engines! This would-be couple may finally be about to launch!
Willow Tait Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) wheels in her new husband Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), finally released from General Hospital, to his surprise party at Charlie’s. Hopefully, Willow and Michael (Chad Duell) will be able to stop staring at each other long enough to allow Chase to be happy he’s out of the hospital. They exchange plenty of glances but so far, no one else has caught on to them. But if they keep this up much longer, it’s only a matter of time. They do not have dumb friends. And Chase isn’t stupid either.
