General Hospital spoilers update for July 5 – 9, 2021, reveal patriotic plans, an apology tour, declining health, and sitting on pins and needles.
General Hospital — The Week Ahead
After a devastating blow to her ego and heart, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is trying to pick up the pieces. If Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is moving on and marrying another woman, even if it’s only for the greater good of Port Charles, then she might as well make plans with another man – Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher) – for the Fourth of July. The two make plans to watch the fireworks together. As for Jason, he finds himself talking with his mom, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), who seems to be surprisingly understanding of his situation.
GH spoilers show Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will find himself looking towards the future with a brighter outlook than before. First, he makes an apology to his step-brother Jake Spencer (Hudson West). Later, Cam and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) decide to put the past behind them.
Despite their best efforts, prisoners Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), had their plan to out Judge Carson’s racial bias comes to an abrupt, and unfortunate, end. As a result, Alexis has found herself sitting in solitary confinement for the past few days, and General Hospital spoilers show her mental health is declining. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) worries about her mother’s well-being, while Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) anxiously await news about Shawn and Alexis.

Jason and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) realized the mob wars put a target on her back. Jason agreed to take control but they knew it would take more than an exchange of power. They decided to get married and promptly spread the word about their engagement.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) took off for Pautuck in search of Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms) baby. They didn’t find her, of course. They did find a touch of romance, though. They also discovered a bit of backstory about Austin (Roger Howarth). Anna realized she knew his father.
Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) stalker won out when they sent a talking bear to Avery. Ava was forced to send her little girl to stay with Carly and break up with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). He vowed to fight for her and set up a sting to catch the culprit. The setup went sideways with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) accidentally caught in the middle.
