GH spoilers for Monday, July 26, 2021, reveal a confrontation, a confirmation, a revelation, and so much more. You won’t want to miss an explosive moment of this new episode.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) danced around it for a while but even after an interruption by Elizabeth, he finally confirms Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) suspicions that he was on the roof that day when Peter August (Wes Ramsey) disappeared into thin air (or a freezer) — by taking her down to that very freezer. She’s not one to sugarcoat anything and lets him know that if she was able to follow Peter’s trail, the police won’t be far behind. They know that they need to do whatever they can to get rid of the body so they can keep him safe.
Speaking of that, GH spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) lets Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) know that he’s pretty sure she’s in trouble and all he wants to do is help her. Considering all she wants is for him to help her and Finn out of this jam, that sounds like a pretty sound offer so it doesn’t take her long to spill her guts to her hitman ex, hoping that he will do what he does best and not get caught. To that end, he makes a call to Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), asking him to do what he can to break into General Hospital’s video surveillance again to turn off the security cameras as he does his thing. What he wasn’t counting on was GH updating their equipment to the point it alerts security when someone tries to hack into their online system. D’oh!
GH spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) visits Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) at the correctional facility — and scares her to death. Well not really, but he does give her quite the fright because he interrupts her time taunting fellow inmate, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). Nik lets his beloved aunt know that he might be losing his wife. One person who would love to hear that is barely there Ryan, who also resides at the cushy spa prison. Nikolas sees him and wanted to make sure that he couldn’t possibly be the one stalking him and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). Unsure, Alexis is all too excited to have something to do and she offers to keep an eye on the serial killer to see if he is faking. Ryan smirks when he overhears them.
Fresh out of prison Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) stake out the Metro Court’s pool, looking for the target they want to interrogate. Since GH spoilers say Shawn questions Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks about Hayden Barnes’s disappearance, it looks like they are well on their way to getting some answers — or are they? And doesn’t Sam already know who shot Hayden Barnes? Guess the audience is expected to be the ones with amnesia now. Jax thought Shawn was the one guilty of trying to kill Hayden but Sam clues him in on what really happened and why Shawn has been released from prison. Jax opens up about not having any way to contact Hayden but he does have a few suggestions, including her sister Liz and of course their former partner-in-crime, Nikolas. That piece of information does intrigue his cousin Sam. Family gatherings may become a bit awkward moving forward.
GH spoilers tease that chairperson of the Board Dr. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) reveals to doctors Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) who will be GH Chief of Staff. Monica sees something in both that could make them equally great for the job and tells them that she wants them both to have the job — as co-Chiefs of Staff. While it doesn’t thrill Terry, she is on board with it but Britt storms out. It doesn’t help when she runs into Jason (on his way down to the freezer) and he essentially blows her off. Terry catches it and suddenly sees Britt as possibly having human feelings — though that won’t last too long. But she has to get Britt on board or else Monica said neither of them can have the top spot.
