GH spoilers for Friday, December 23, 2022, reveal holiday surprises, family worries, tender memories, and so much more. You won’t want to miss an emotional moment of this new episode.
A year ago on Christmas, Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) was mourning the death of her newborn son Liam and telling Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) she loved him for the first time. Now, Brando is also gone, and Sasha has had a tumultuous time that leaves her under a conservatorship with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) running her financial life.
When Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) finds Sasha at Brando’s garage, GH spoilers say he is on hand to help her with an important task. Sonny tells Sasha what they need to do will take no time at all, and she seems game as they remember what she lost and who and what she still has in her life.
Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) makes her way back to Port Charles to talk things over with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and realizes that he is in love with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) again, something he cannot deny.

As for Maxie, she has Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as guests in her tiny apartment while she worries she might get bad news. Meanwhile, Liesl and Nina are on a mission to cheer up Britt Westbourne as she spends time helping Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth). She certainly didn’t expect to be spending her last Christmas in PC this way.
It might be Christmas morning, but that doesn’t mean the mayor and the police commissioner don’t have important work to do. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) insists to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) that their task may be hard, but it isn’t impossible. They are determined to find The Hook, but maybe they might also want to work on bringing Anna Devane home.
Finally, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) puts in an appearance to offer a reminder to Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Do they reminisce about Franco Baldwin and all he has missed over the past year and a half?
