GH spoilers for Monday, August 23, 2021, reveal a shock, a request, a familiar face, and so much more. You won’t want to miss an explosive moment of this new episode.
Color Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) surprised when she opens the door to see a familiar face in Nixon Falls. Knowing she must get Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to leave as soon as possible before she sees Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), she apologizes to Maxie and tells her she has to leave now. It’s her former sister-in-law’s turn to be colored surprised — but will she go?
They aren’t the only ones shaken by recent actions. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was as well when she saw the empty wheelchair. So it’s not a stretch to believe she questions Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) actions. It looks like she gets her hands on that proof he was bragging about in a phone call to Austin Gatlin-Holt — and she tells him that if he values her friendship, then he’ll tell her the truth.
Speaking of Austin (Roger Howarth), he listens as Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) tries to negotiate with him new terms, asking him what he can do to get him to walk away from his claim. Of course, if he heard Chase’s voice mail, there is a good chance he’ll be turning Ned down flat.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) seeks out Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) help and gets Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) as a bonus. Will she ask them to look into Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) possible resurrection? Meanwhile, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) catches up with her son Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), wanting to know if there’s anything new between him and Sam.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) receives alarming news from her brother Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), most likely involving their brother Cyrus Renault. It’s so scary, she’s soon joined by Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), leaving Laura to ask her and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), doesn’t she get a choice? Is the threat so bad she’s being moved to an out-of-state safe house?
Michael Corinthos Quartermaine (Chad Duell) tells Willow Tait Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) he’ll wait for her as long as it takes. She’s tired of lying all the time to her husband and is ready to come clean but will Michael’s offer to wait have her delay it…again?
