General Hospital spoilers weekly update for September 20 – 24, 2021, tease the week ahead is full of regrets, hopeful moments, and past memories. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Port Charles!
The days, weeks, and months leading up to the explosive fire at the Tan-O were all set in motion by Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). It was her lies from the beginning that kept building to this moment. If she would have never lied to “Mike” (Maurice Benard) about his true identity, none of them would be in Nixon Falls, and poor Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) wouldn’t have lost the Tan-O and the years of irreplaceable memories inside.
Now Nina is left to pick up the pieces and try to mend the relationships she shattered. Nina wonders how to make sense of her actions. Her first step is to find Phyllis and try to apologize for the hurt, pain, and loss she caused her. Phyllis has always been understanding, but can she forgive her friend when their whole relationship has been built on lies?
Back in Port Charles, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is busy keeping Carly Corinthos Morgan (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) wedding reception on schedule. In a moment of downtime, she is intercepted by Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and the former flames share a brief moment together.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) have had their differences in the past. Now Nikolas is trying to mend his relationship with his son. He catches up with Spencer and the meeting must end on a high note because it leaves Nik feeling hopeful about the future.
Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) showing up in Nixon Falls threw Nina through a loop and she finally agreed to tell “Mike” the truth. Unfortunately, before she could, Peter (Wes Ramsey) showed up, pulled a gun on Nina and Phyllis, tied them up, and set the Tan-O on fire.
Jax and “Mike” managed to rescue the ladies but poor “Mike” became trapped under a beam. He was visited by the ghost of his father (Max Gail) and a vision of Carly. “Mike” finally realized he was never really “Mike” after all.
Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) lived through the gas poisoning but the whole incident took its toll on her kidneys. She was in need of a transplant and was whisked away to Albany for some specialized care.
