General Hospital spoilers for Friday, October 16, 2020, reveal a botched plan, manipulations, more plotting, and so much more. You won’t want to miss a Machiavellian moment of this new episode.
Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) are coming to the end of their plot as Scott (Kin Shriner) is off to seal the deal with their marks. Franco sees dollar signs and can’t wait for their money problems to be over. He tells Liz that he can live with it but Liz wonders if she can. Her guilt and worry continue to eat away at her. Will she crack?
Speaking of the payoff meeting, Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) is ready to be done with the blackmail once and for all and tells Scott to take it now or the deal is off. Was Scotty trying to do a last-minute double-cross? And if so, was he looking to create a little payday for himself? Nik will seek out Aunt Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for help.
As Nik is dealing with his end of things, Ava (Maura West) tells her brother she thinks Nik is starting to care about her and she also reassures Julian (William deVry). After all, she doesn’t want him to end up with cement shoes, courtesy of Sonny (Maurice Benard). But the mobster ends up with Julian and tells him that he doesn’t have the luxury of turning him down. Does he want Charlie’s too?!
Sonny is a busy guy — he also finds the time to strategize with Jason (Steve Burton), probably catching him up on the news that Brando (Johnny Wactor) gave him about Cyrus (Jeff Kober). Jason also promises Carly (Laura Wright) it’s better “this way” but she doesn’t look like she completely believes him. Is he referring to letting Brando shoulder all the risk?
Brando’s fake son Dev (Ashton Arbab) is acting faker all the time. After reading Joss’s (Eden McCoy) private journal, Dev is armed with the perfect way to get what he wants. To that end, he manipulates Cameron (William Lipton) and makes his move on Joss, asking if she wants to go to the lake to watch the stars. Don’t do it, Joss! That boy ain’t true.
If anyone can spot anyone not true it’s Monica (Leslie Charleson). And she’s sick of the games happening in her house! She lets Ned (Wally Kurth) and Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) know it’s make-up time. But spoilers reveal that Monica’s plan goes horribly wrong. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
