General Hospital Spoilers Wild Speculation: Is Another Who Shot Sonny On the Way?

It’s not exactly a General Hospital spoilers surprise to say that, at any given time, someone in Port Charles always has a good reason for shooting Sonny. For one thing, he’s a criminal. Criminals ruin lives.

Second, he has a bunch of kids, which means a bunch of baby mamas. That can cause friction, as well. And then there are the other criminals who hold a grudge against him. So if another Who Shot Sonny mystery is looming on the horizon, we handicap whodunit.

Carly: It’s Always the Wife

Carly (Laura Wright) has already divorced Sonny (Maurice Benard) a bunch of times. Maybe she’s frustrated by how it doesn’t seem to take. You know what would end their dysfunctional relationship, once and for all? Sonny’s death.

Bad Guy Stand Off

Cyrus (Jeff Kober) would like to see Sonny dead. So would Julian (William DeVry), presumably. They both know people. They could make it happen.

Kiddie Kapers

Sonny shot Dante (Dominic Zaparonga) in the chest once. Turn about is fair play, no? Sonny hung Michael’s (Chad Duell) biological dad, AJ, on a meathook. Turn about is fair play, no? Only, in this case, the role of meathook would be played by a bullet.

Ex Files

Ava (Maura West) and Sonny never exactly had a relationship. But they do have a child. Whom Sonny barely lets Ava see. A bullet could settle this custody case.

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Sonny have a daughter, too. Alexis has no reason to kill Sonny – at the moment. But Alexis is also known for saying one thing and doing the opposite. So why not?

Fall Guy

In the end, though, we all know that the majority of soap whodunits end with some expendable character no one will miss. In this case, we’re going with Mike (Max Gail). He has Alzheimer’s, so he won’t be blamed, and he’s towards the end of his life. Case closed! (We’re just kidding here, but it certainly would be a twist.)General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
