General Hospital Spoilers: Tragedy, Grief, And A Mother Of A Secret

General Hospital spoilers for August 20-24 promise an emotional week in Port Charles as your favorites deal with the fallout from lies and deceit.

Saying Goodbye
It’s time for Michael (Chad Duell) to say goodbye to his son, but of course he has no idea that son is practically under his nose living with Lucas and Brad — but for how long now that the birth mother wants her baby back?

As Michael deals with his grief, Sam (Kelly Monaco) is there to reflect on her own loss and perceived loss. Remember, her first child, Lila, was stillborn, and she even believed Danny was dead for months shortly after his birth.

Sam knows what it’s like to grieve a lost child you never got a chance to know, but who you certainly loved. She is also there to comfort Lucas, who has to face the loss of a child.

Chase (Josh Swickard) and Michael also commiserate about what happened and continue to blame themselves and their reckless plan for the tragic loss.

Apparently, Carly (Laura Wright) is not taking what happened well as Sonny (Maurice Benard) is there to console her and Jason becomes more and more concerned about her well being.

Mystery Memories
While Jason (Steve Burton) busies himself with Carly as usual, Drew (Billy Miller) is more curious about Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) than ever — and her intense interest in him.

Mob Wars
Julian (William deVry) also finds a few things to be suspicious, and he knows Sonny is behind it all.

He just wants to expand his pub, but with Sonny so interested and stopping his building permits, he starts his own investigation into what the heck is going on.

It’s Over?
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is forced to give in to Nina (Michelle Stafford) when his extremely long 30 days are up.

He still hasn’t proven that it’s worth giving their marriage another chance, and Nina is perfectly blunt about what she wants — a divorce.

However, we all know Valentin doesn’t ever give up that easily and he may tell Nina one thing, but he does another and goes to Curtis (Donnell Turner) for help.

Odds And Ends
In other Port Charles news, Finn (Michael Easton) is forced to think fast on his feet, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) takes a meeting with Diane (Carolyn Hennesey), and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) seems distracted.
