General Hospital spoilers for Friday, July 17, 2020, reveal the Davis girls ripping each other apart in this blast from the not-too-distant pas… May 5, 2020, to be exact. You won’t want to miss an explosive moment of this spring episode.
The claws come out as Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) go at each other and debate who is more to blame about the state of Sam’s relationship with Jason (Steve Burton). A mortified Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Molly (Haley Pullos) try to step in but Sam wants them to butt out. She makes it clear that she did everything to try to save Kristina, but Kristina reminds her she never asked for her help.
That is when things will get really dirty. Kristina feels backed into a corner and will come out with some real doozies, including that Sam and Jason are addicted to the drama and that no matter what, cleaning up Sonny and Carly’s messes will always come first — not her. Ouch! But is she wrong?
Speaking of Carly (Laura Wright), she spies Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and her lawyer Martin (Michael E. Knight) having a pow-wow about the custody trial. He’ll try to get her to face reality while she shares her list of everything she’s done right and what she wants him to do to help her. What about character witnesses? Will anyone speak up for the town pariah? That will get Nelle to put on her thinking cap.
Carly, of course, makes a beeline for Nina (Cynthia Watros) and interrupts the magazine editor’s time with Jax (Ingo Rademacher), who must be used to his ex interrupting things by now. Carly wants something to use against Nelle and Nina’s response not only shocks Carly but also Jax. Nelle arrives and overhear things that will give her an idea.
Look for some playful teasing on Franco’s (Roger Howarth) part as he tries to get an upset Ava (Maura West) to open up about what’s bothering her. He’ll also give her some advice about her latest marriage that she might not want to hear (so what’s new, right?). But these two continue to be themselves, which means don’t expect the sweetness to last.
Meanwhile, Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) serves the same function for a hurt Liz (Rebecca Herbst), who’s still smarting after Franco’s foot-in-mouth comment about her not being a real artist. That’s something Nik can immediately jump on, being quite familiar with her talent, and he’ll use it to try to deepen the wedge in her marriage. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
