General Hospital spoilers for January 4-8, 2021, tease troubling days ahead for Laura and Cyrus, and so much more!
Mayor Laura Collins’s (Genie Francis) troubles continue to compound. First, she’s left incredulous after attempting to dig a little deeper into Martin’s (Michael E. Knight) and Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) relationship. Then, she gets some news about Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) that throws her for an absolute loop. Has the madman escaped from custody once again?
And speaking of Cyrus, the villain is left fighting mad following the failed coup attempt against Jason (Steve Burton) and the resulting kidnapping of his mother. He’ll confront his rival for a second time, but the results will be much the same.
And like his sister dearest, Cyrus’s week won’t get any better. In addition to his run-in with Stone Cold, he’ll issue an order to Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry)…and she, in turn, will tell him to stuff it! Spoilers warn that Cyrus will then decide to hone in on the root of his problem – but who or what that is remains to be seen.
The messy quadrangle featuring Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Chase (Josh Swickard), Michael (Chad Duell), and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) continues to get messier. In the aftermath of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) disappearance, it’s Sasha whom Michael turns to, rather than his wife, which can only spell trouble in budding paradise. At least Chase (Josh Swickard) has Finn (Michael Easton) to confide in and get advice from.
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) continues to endeavor to “complete the mission” but he’s stymied by Anna (Finola Hughes), who wants to talk about his time with the WSB and about the treatment he received for his PTSD. Comfort arises in the form of Sam (Kelly Monaco), with whom Dante takes the time to bond.
In other Port Charles news, Peter (Wes Ramsey) snaps at Sam, and Anna is shocked to hear about Franco’s (Roger Howarth) treatments. Plus, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) makes a plea to Nina (Cynthia Watros) and a promise to Martin.
Meanwhile, Ava (Maura West) receives word about Julian (William deVry)…and tangles with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Also, the disgraced legal eagle is forced to confront her recent troubles with the PCPD.
Finally, Portia (Brook Kerr) takes Jordan to task and encourages Taggert to fight, and Tracy (Jane Elliot) nearly blows Ned’s (Wally Kurth) secret. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
