The General Hospital spoilers for August 17-21, 2020 reveal party poopers bringing down a hostess, a do-gooder accused of doing bad things, a pair of besties smarting over their decisions, and so much more.
All Ava (Maura West) wanted was to be able to lord her status as an honest to goodness Princess over her fellow Port Charlesians and reveal the stunning portrait that she had commissioned. But it doesn’t seem that she’s going to get to enjoy her little evening soiree. First Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) accuses her of self-sabotage and then she has to deal with Nikolas’s (Marcus Coloma) dismissive behavior. Why is everyone so against Ava?
While Curtis (Donnell Turner) attempts to forge a connection with a still uninterested Trina (Sydney Mikayla), Portia (Brooke Kar) will begin to question Jordan’s (Briana Nicole Henry) recent behavior.
Though they are both heartened by the news that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) received sole custody of Wiley, Chase (Josh Swickard) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) will both continue to struggle with their emotions relating to the break-up with their respective partners. And Sasha’s newfound affection for cocaine isn’t going to make matters any easier.
In other Port Charles news, Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) continue to butt heads over his treatment (and dismissal) of Brook Lynn (Briana Lane), whom spoilers have getting caught up in the moment and putting herself in harm’s way.
Perhaps she gets between a kidnap-minded Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and her prey. After all, those same spoilers warn that Michel makes a startling discovery. An injured cousin and an empty bed that should contain his sleeping toddler would certainly qualify as startling.
Meanwhile, Sam (Kelly Monaco) sees a softer side to Brando (Johnny Wactor), Maxie (Kirsten Storms) makes a stunning announcement, and Elizabeth overhears an interesting conversation – perhaps it’s Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) discussing his latest scheme with Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel). Also, Elizabeth and Franco (Roger Howarth) come to a realization.
Finally, Julian (William deVry) is forced to make a life-changing decision and Valentin (James Patrick) continues to try and woo Nina (Cynthia Watros) back to his side. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
