General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, May 28, 2020 reveal an emotion-packed extravaganza of Nurses Ball past… May 1, 2015, to be exact. You won’t want to miss a moment as secrets come exploding out during this musical episode.

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Brad (Parry Shen) blows off walking the red carpet with Lucas (Ryan Carnes) to watch it at home with BFF Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), as the two attend to their ritual of making fun of those strutting their stuff. There will be another pratfall for them to find utterly hilarious but then it will be time for Brad to take off for the ball.

Britt doesn’t want to be left behind and ends up paying Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) a visit. She realizes he stayed home because of his burned face and does her best to give him the courage to still attend the ball. He fears, once again, all is lost with Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) and will do what he can to win his lady love back.

Liesl Takes The Spotlight

The ball begins with the usual number welcoming everyone with Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy), Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo), and Felix Dubois (Marc Anthony Samuel) performing. And they almost get to finish it but once again, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) steals the show by singing 99 Red Balloons by Nena.

Ric (Rick Hearst) has something special planned for Liz during his song (a ring is involved), but Ric is the one who ends up getting a big surprise, courtesy of a meddling Carly (Laura Wright). His and Hayden’s (Rebecca Budig) true connection will come to light and it will send Liz running from the ballroom. But this secret also has repercussions for Hayden and Jake (Billy Miller).

Brad Steps Up

After Ric runs after Liz, the Nurses Ball will come to a standstill until Brad saves the day when he sings Marry You by Bruno Mars. He proposes to Lucas — showing how far these two have come in the last year since the episodes shown earlier this week. But this won’t be the only fallout from the chaos of Ric’s song.

Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) will go in search of Liz, wanting to be there for her as her life spins out of control. What he wasn’t counting on was her being excited at the thought that Jake is now free of Hayden. Wanting to stop her from pursuing him, Nik blurts out the ‘truth’ about Jake — he’s Jason!
