General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

A mourning Jason (Steve Burton) agonizes about telling Sam that her baby died. As Steven checks her over, Jason wants to know why she hasn’t woken up yet. It’s obvious Steven is concerned about this as well, but he says they’ve done all the could for her. Liz (Rebecca Herbst) is there and lets Jason know she’s been praying for Sam and she gives him advice on how to help her.

He may wish she had stayed asleep because when she awakens, she wants to see her baby. It falls upon Jason to let her know that she and Sonny (Maurice Benard) lost their baby. It’s a horrific moment for the young woman as the reality of his words tear apart her heart.

Prayers for Kristina

But Sam’s little one isn’t the only tragedy brewing as most of Port Charles is on pins and needles wondering if Kristina will survive her medical crisis. Sonny was given the one-two punch of learning his daughter died while also finding out he’s Kristina’s biological father — as she faces a health crisis that could kill her.

What’s worse is that Carly (Tamara Braun) knew he was the father of Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) baby and never said a word. The state of their marriage is on the minds of those around them, especially his sister Courtney (Alicia Leigh Willis). Ric (Rick Hearst) tries to play interference to protect Alexis from Sonny as tempers start to flare.

Emily (Natalia Livingston) is surprised to see Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) until she realizes it’s really Connor (also Tyler Christopher). A phone call Emily fields about Kristina’s surgery has Nik headed to the hospital though he worries about leaving Emily alone with their guest.
