General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 2, 2019, reveal a day of betrayal and confusion. You won’t want to miss a moment of this edge-of-your-seat episode.
Carly (Laura Wright) is tired of feeling like Sonny (Maurice Benard) is interrogating her but she finally realizes there’s a good reason for that: He knows she is keeping secrets from him because of Jax (Ingo Rademacher), of all people. And it’s not like she cares about protecting Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) anyway.
He has seemingly disappeared anyway, so keeping the secret seems to make less and less sense but will Carly really tell Sonny everything? Spoilers reveal that Sonny feels betrayed, so there’s a good chance she does spill it all.
He will not like that she would keep something so explosive from him: Only he’s allowed to keep those kinds of secrets, right?!
Jason (Steve Burton) tried to warn Sonny to just have a normal conversation with Carly and work things out, but now Jason is the one baffled.

While Sam, Willow, and Harmony had good guesses, could it actually be his former BFF (and wife?) from prison, Nelle (Chloe Lanier)? Was that the reason she wanted out of prison so quickly… so she could attend?
Laura (Genie Francis) is determined to see that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) pays for all he has done but she doesn’t want him to get the upper hand about anything.
To that end, she tries to persuade Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez)… but about what? Does she ask her granddaughter to not identify Nikolas as her imaginary bodyguard?
Only Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) appears to be on Team Valentin. She comes to his defense with Nina (Cynthia Watros), giving her NotMother a lot to think about as she prepares to rip Valentin’s heart out and stomp on it in front of all their family and supposed friends.
