The General Hospital recap for Monday, December 30, 2019, features post-Christmas blues, pre-wedding and pre-revenge jitters, and invitations to an event no recipient wants to attend.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Ava (Maura West) phoned Nina (Cynthia Watros) to make sure that her plan to roast Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) at the upcoming wedding was still on. Immediately, Ava sensed that her partner-in-crime was wavering.
Nina’s resolve continued to crumble when she was confronted with the thought of how hard Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) would take the revelation. Speaking of Charlotte, the little tyke continued to insist that her bodyguard was real and she told “Papa” that his picture was on Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) phone — a fact that she previously shared with Laura (Genie Francis).
While Valentin stormed off to confront his daughter’s grandmother, Nina headed over to GH once informed that the DNA results she ordered had finally been processed. Finally, proof that Valentin was behind Sasha’s maternity scheme!
Meanwhile, Ava and Julian sat down at the Metro Court and discussed Lucas’ will and whether it’s up to date. Valentin’s ears perked up when he overheard her tell Julian to make sure there aren’t any codicils.
Friends and Enemies Welcomed
Sam (Kelly Monaco) arrived at Turning Woods to visit Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and ran into Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Brad (Parry Shen), and Julian (William deVry). During the small talk that followed, Willow let slip that she was almost conned into letting Nelle (Chloe Lanier) hold Wiley.
Later, once Julian and Brad exited the premises, Willow and Sam engaged in some girl talk only to be rudely interrupted by a text message inviting them to attend a memorial celebrating the life of David Henry Archer, aka Shiloh.
At first, the two suspected Harmony (Inga Cadranel) of being the sender but the woman in questioned arrived moments later and received the same message. Harmony swore that she was not responsible and furthermore declared that whoever had planned the event needed their head examined.
A Question of Trust
Sonny (Maurice Benard), having decided that he is the only person allowed to lie, cheat, kill and keep secrets, recruited a loyal employee to tail Carly (Laura Wright) and report back to him.
The handy dandy tracker planted on Carly’s car allowed Gino to follow her down to the docks where he spied on a meeting between her and Jax (Ingo Rademacher). After the exes parted company, Gino eavesdropped on a conversation between Julian and Brad where he heard them discussing Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle.
Gino reported back to Sonny who was less than pleased to hear that his son’s name had come out of Jerome’s mouth. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
