General Hospital spoilers (GH) for Wednesday, January 31 promise a day of heartbreak in Port Charles as Maxie loses the love of her life. You won’t want to miss a moment of this emotional episode.
A Loss Too Great
It’s a day Port Charles will never forget as one of its boys in blue is lost. Nathan was trying to save is wife, but ended up shot by his own father.
After feeling his child move for the first time, he told Maxie (Kirsten Storms) he loves her and then flatlined.
Tomorrow, doctors do their best to save Nathan, but with Ryan Paevey leaving the soap, it’s too little too late and he leaves a pregnant Maxie on her own. He also leaves a mother and a sister behind, and a tweet from Head Writer Chris Van Etten previewed some emotional scenes with Nina.
Hopeful?
Meanwhile, Lulu (Emme Rylan) knows what she’s done and continues to write her story at Kelly’s.
When Curtis (Donnell Turner) stops by, he tells her he hopes her story has a happy ending and she says it has to.
Grateful? Hardly!
Back at the hospital, Faison (Anders Hove) may have to face what he did to one of his sons, but not before Alan Quatermaine’s other living son pays him a visit.

Another Battle
And while one of her detectives dies, Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) has to deal with Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson), who tells her not to just say she’s sorry, but to DO something about a bad situation.
