General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, May 20, 2021, reveal a reconnection, a shocking confrontation, growing danger, and so much more. You won’t want to miss an emotional moment of this new episode.

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Carly (Laura Wright) tells Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) that the only one who can save her and her son Brando is her, which of course doesn’t sit well with Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) relative. She hates Carly and the thought of needing her is the worst. But what Carly asks of her may be too big an ask. Will Gladys agree to the terms?

Brando (Johnny Wactor) comes to Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) defense when Cyrus (Jeff Kober) lets his temper flare. Sasha finally lets Cyrus have it and when he starts to balk, she lets him know that she’s saving the best for last. But will that “best” piece of information put her, Brando, and their baby’s lives in jeopardy?

Family Ties

Laura (Genie Francis) was desperate to connect with Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) after receiving Cyrus’s threats about his purchase of Pentonville. In front of Ava (Maura West), she supports Nikolas’s plan but she wants to know if helping Alexis is the only reason he wants to buy the prison. Is there more to this new purchase?

A small victory reconfirms Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) decision to help her fellow prisoners. Maggie is elated but worries she was being selfish in using her cell mate’s legal expertise for free. Alexis tells her that if anyone’s been selfish, it’s been her. After all, she’s getting something out of helping others — a taste of her old life.

Oh Ned — Get It Together

Maggie’s not her only “client.” Shawn (Sean Blakemore) reconnects with TJ (Tajh Bellow) and the father and son have a meaningful talk. He tells him that he’s going to fight for parole and when TJ wants to know why now, he lets him know that Alexis convinced him he doesn’t have to pay for a crime he didn’t commit.

Speaking of paying for a crime you didn’t commit, Jason remains at large and therefore Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) remains on the case. He calls Sam (Kelly Monaco) out on slashing his tires. Will she have to pay a steeper price than a lecture? General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
