General Hospital spoilers for July 13-17, 2020 reveal Robert facing a harsh truth, Sonny being forced to make a decision concerning his father’s care, and Brook Lynn getting herself and Julian into a spot of major trouble!
In response to Holly’s (Emma Samms) reported passing, Robert (Tristan Rogers) loses himself in drink and self-pity. He spends the night at Laura’s (Genie Francis) – who sympathetically offers the drunk man the use of her sofa – and once he is sufficiently sobered up, Robert is informed that all is not what it seems where Holly’s death is concerned. Could it have been purposeful murder?
Mike’s (Max Gail) condition continues to steeply decline and Sonny (Maurice Benard) is approached about the insertion of a feeding tube. He’ll struggle with the decision of whether or not to prolong his father’s life, but he will have quite a few friends and loved ones to turn to in the coming weeks.
Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) motor mouth and animated hands land Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) in the hospital and her in the slammer. Luckily for Brook Lynn, Julian (William deVry) is more than willing to post her bail – as long as it will get him away from a prying Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and keep Brook Lynn silent about his role in Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Brad’s (Parry Shen) car accident.
However, that incident becomes fodder for Nelle once she overhears the pair discussing its finer points… and she begins to formulate a scheme that she hopes will ensure her victory in Wiley’s custody hearing.
But she may be counting her chickens before they hatch. Though it’s true she asked Nina (Cynthia Watros) to speak on her behalf, Nina hasn’t exactly agreed to do so. And Michael (Chad Duell) is just as determined to remain Wiley’s sole caregiver.
To that end, he even breaks down and finally asks Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to marry him… for appearance’s sake. Who else would be better qualified to help him raise Wiley than the woman who spent nearly two years believing that he was her own child? But will the wedding go off without a hitch?
