General Hospital spoilers for the start of 2020 reveal several stories coming to their ultimate climax and end.
Some of these plots have been brewing for well over a year and their endings (or the beginning of their ends) will surprise you, according to Soap Opera Digest previews.
Fans have been clamoring for Michael (Chad Duell) to learn his beloved godson, Wiley, is actually his own son, Jonah, who Nelle (Chloe Lanier) told him died. Brad (Parry Shen) finally blurted out the truth to Lucas (Ryan Carnes) just before that fateful car crash and now Brad wonders what Lucas will remember when he wakes — or if he wakes.
Well, it’s a good thing Nelle has another delusional plot going where she clearly plans to be a mother to her son in 2020. She told us this via the poster she made in Pentonville. Well, she does manage to get out of jail and have a showdown with Carly (Laura Wright) and Nelle roaming free will finally kick off the baby switch reveal.
Carly is keeping Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) secret about Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) being alive and it’s putting quite the strain on her already-strained marriage. Sonny (Maurice Benard) becomes angrier and angrier but is also going through his own emotional hard time as he tries to make the best of what could be Mike’s (Max Gail) last days.
Peter (Wes Ramsey) thinks he’s in the clear and can begin his life with Maxie (Kirsten Storms), but he is unaware that Anna (Finola Hughes) knows he did something shady. She just can’t seem to put her finger on what that shady thing is. Expect to see Robert (Tristan Rogers) become more and more involved with this investigation.
As Anna investigates, she also has to contend with an instant family in her home via Violet and Finn (Michael Easton). Will Hayden (Rebecca Budig) ever return and explain what’s really been going on?
Nikolas is shocked by Ava’s (Maura West) conditions for handing over the codicil and he might not be willing to play her game. As for Nik’s mother? She is set to lead a big storyline in her role as mayor. Does this have anything to do with the discovery that her son is alive and well?
Now that Franco (Roger Howarth) is Franco again, the family has more to contend with than they thought. Interestingly enough, Nikolas becomes involved with their story and that looks to put their marriage through yet another test.
With Tracy (Jane Elliott) back in town, the Quartermaines take center stage once again in Port Charles. Is she there to unite the family or cause Tracy-like trouble? Our guess is the latter because this is Tracy after all.
This is one mixed up group of friends developing feelings for one another. But nobody seems to know who wants who romantically and things get complicated. Does Joss (Eden McCoy) want Cameron (Will Lipton) or Dev (Ashton Arbab)? Does Cameron want Joss or Trina (Sydney Mikayla)? Who does Trina want now that Dev turned her down? It’s enough to make your head spin in the new soap opera decade. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
