On the Friday, February 9 episode of General Hospital, spoilers feature talk about mob hits, personal vendettas, and potentially damaging discoveries. Do not miss this episode.
V is for Vendetta
Since finding out Nina (Cynthia Watros) was the whistleblower, Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) fury has cranked up a thousand levels. Sure, he let go of his anger towards Michael (Chad Duell). But he’s channeling it all into getting revenge on Nina. According to Drew, “She’s going to keep losing until she’s as alone, as broke, and as empty as she deserves to be.” Yikes.
With this in mind, Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew discuss his bitter vendetta against their nemesis. Given the intensity of Drew’s energy for revenge, will Carly sign on for whatever he’s planning? Or will she try and talk him out of living a life of pure, unadulterated wrath? Maybe she’ll remind him to focus on the truly important things in life…like spending time with the daughter he said he missed while in prison.
The Hits Keep Coming
Lately, Sonny (Maurice Benard, who talks about mental health in Hollywood here) is on a bit of a losing streak. He shut down all communication with his wife. Also, he’s the target of some mysterious person or entity that wants him dead. In addition, he suspects there’s a mole within his organization. His one minor win happened when Cyrus (Jeff Kober) didn’t press charges for assault after Sonny gave him a major beatdown.
Wait, there’s more. Sonny suddenly discovers intel on a recent string of mob hits. What that has to do with him or his operation remains to be seen. But it can’t be anything good. Right now his security is on full alert, probably at Defcon 1. What more can he do to protect himself and his loved ones?
Discovery and Personal Development
Currently, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) hopes to move heaven and earth to find the mole in Sonny’s organization. When he makes an actual discovery, is this going to blow back on Dex (Evan Hofer) and Michael? The two may be collaborating in the name of helping Sonny now, but for a long time that was not their intention. The exact opposite, actually.
Finally, Cody (Josh Kelly) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) are like oil and water. They just don’t get along. However, that’s slowly changing. Look for Cody to help Spinelli with an issue. Is this about Spinelli wanting to reunite with Maxie (Kirsten Storms)?
