On the Wednesday, February 14 episode of General Hospital, spoilers focus on magical moments, anniversaries, and…red-hot rage. Yes, it’s a mixed bag of emotions for this episode that airs on Valentine’s Day. Do not miss a minute.
Sonny’s Anti-Valentine’s Day
Sonny (Maurice Benard) isn’t anywhere close to being in the right mindset for Valentine’s Day. In fact, he’s feeling all kinds of rage and fury after experiencing yet another perceived betrayal. Brick (Stephen A. Smith) digging deep for the truth about a mole in Sonny’s organization unearthed evidence against a trusted employee — Dex Heller. (Find out about ABC’s commitment to GH here)
What Brick discovers is a mysterious deposit Dex (Evan Hofer) received in an offshore account right around the attack on Sonny’s compound in Puerto Rico. Dex attempts to explain how this was all about protecting Sonny, not hurting him. At the same time, there’s no way he wants to give up his source — Michael (Chad Duell). Needless to say, this whole situation triggers Sonny’s fury. He’s seeing red, so will this be a Bloody Valentine’s Day for Dex?
Co-Parenting and Confiding
Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) are one of GH’s rare couples that currently share a solid, drama-free relationship. That is, when they’re not helping their friends and family deal with their chaotic lives. And right now, one of the kids in their blended family is in need of help. So it forces Sam and Dante to go in serious co-parenting mode when they discover Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) is in trouble.
Also, look for Maxie (Kirsten Storms, who talks about her daughter here) to confide in Sasha (Sofia Mattson). Lately, work issues and money troubles have constantly forced Maxie to put out fire after fire. So when she does confide in her fellow Deception diva, is she about to share something personal or professional? Does this have to do with her non-existent love life?
Celebrate Good Times, Come on
Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr) have a lot to celebrate this year for their first anniversary. For one, they’re actually together. Their marriage imploded quickly after the ceremony. Real quick. But they worked through those issues and are now enjoying being a family with Trina (Tabyana Ali), Stella (Vernee Watson), and Marshall (Robert Gossett). After a successful surgery, Curtis is doing his best to heal and learn how to walk again. Yes, Trina’s struggling right now, but they’re facing her grief together. Their second year is shaping up to be much better than the first.
Finally, Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) are headed for the altar. So far, no one but Lois (Rena Sofer) has really Bridezilla’d out. But even she’s going with the flow after Tracy (Jane Elliot) suggested an acceptable compromise. Looks like they’re tuning out the noise long enough to share a magical Valentine’s Day moment. Will Chase serenade his soon-to-be wife?
