This isn’t the first time Michael Corinthos has thrown a temper tantrum against adoptive dad Sonny Corinthos on General Hospital. There was that time he went so far as to take custody of Avery away from Sonny and rename her AJ — after the biological dad, Sonny killed.

But then Michael (Chad Duell) got over it and began worshipping his killer papa again. Until now, when Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) breakup with Michael’s mother, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) reminded Michael that Sonny was a mob boss who must be stopped! He hurts people! How can a man like that be allowed to walk the streets freely? Is Michael being ridiculous? What almost 2,000 voters told us about that:

Get a grip boy, a winning 80% of you lecture. You have forgiven your criminal namesake daddy for so, so much more, so why are you suddenly flipping out now? If you could deal with everything Sonny has done in the past when he and Carly were married, then your righteous indignation now is obviously about feeling personally put out that Sonny isn’t still hanging on your every word, and reuniting with Mommy, pronto, and not about all the many, many, many crimes we all know he’s committed — and you were fine with before.
General Hospital Family First
Sonny hurt Michael’s mother, so Sonny deserves to go to prison for life. What’s so complicated about that, 14% of the audience wonders. He’s a good boy.

Clear GH Eyes, Can’t Lose
We all agree that Michael is a dim bulb. Which is why 6% of fans honestly believe he didn’t realize that his father was a criminal until now. He finally had his eyes opened, and now, being the boy raised to believe in truth, justice, and the rule of law, Michael is determined to see Sonny punished. Better late than never?
