Sonny Goes After Julian–Does Morgan Get In The Mix?

Sonny tried to do the right thing on General Hospital, but feels the law didn’t do the right thing by him. When Julian walked free last week, it seemed all bets were off and now we may see a fight to the death.

According to the October 10 issue of Soap Opera Digest, tensions mount in the Corinthos house as Carly gets the sinking feeling her husband is about to do something he’ll regret.

While Carly (Laura Wright) has always accepted Sonny’s “career” choice in the past, dealing with Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) shooting a year ago and Kiki’s (Hayley Erin) shooting in February has her re-thinking everything. She begged Sonny for an end to the violence, but in Sonny’s world, if the law doesn’t stop someone in their tracks, he has to do it himself.

In the midst of all this, Morgan slides further down that slippery slope, having no idea he’s taking the wrong meds, thanks to Julian’s sick and sly sister, Ava (Maura West). His behavior becomes even more erratic as his parents realize his foray into college has been anything but successful.

This makes us wonder if Morgan is about to get himself mixed up in his father’s business once again. That’s how Kiki got shot and what caused his breakdown earlier this year. With Bryan Craig off the soap by November, we can see Morgan making another mighty med-less mistake.

Perhaps he gets caught in the crossfire this time, and ends up with another stay in the mental hospital off-screen. That would be a perfect set up for introducing the character with a new actor a month or two down the line. (GH does have a casting call out for a character that sounds eerily like Morgan.)

According to Digest, the fallout from Sonny’s revenge plan will shake up “Carson” in a way it never has before. Will the Corinthos clan ever be the same?
