It was only three days but it was a whirlwind three days when Harmony Miller completely unspooled and decided she was done playing games and would eliminate anyone who got in her way — until she made her most desperate move yet and ended up becoming a victim of her own schemes. For mesmerizing us as Harmony took names and numbers and didn’t look back, Inga Cadranel is this week’s General Hospital Soap Hub Performer of the Week.

Performer of the Week: Inga Cadranel

Cadranel has been showing us a whole new side of Harmony for a while, a woman who has been an enigma of sorts since she first debuted as Shiloh’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) right-hand woman in the Dawn of Day cult back in 2019. Since then, she’s popped in and out of stories as Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) quiet, determined, and cunning mother, showing us new layers to Harmony, aka Lorraine Miller, every few months. We should have known when she befriended serial-killing sociopath Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) at Spring Ridge that there was something about Harmony that was more wrong than right.

And, Cadranel showed us everything that was wrong with Harmony this week as Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) inserted herself where she doesn’t belong once again and Harmony decided she’d had it. She was going to protect the secret that she is not Willow’s biological mother with everything she had. As we saw Harmony’s sheer resolve to kill anyone she had to, we also saw her vulnerability when all she could think about was having Willow back in her life and then somehow losing her again.

Every facet of Harmony we have seen over the past three years came together in Cadranel’s performance this week. It was a combination of self-absorbed, yet full of regret and desperate, yet single-minded.

When Harmony quickly made a run for it the second she thought the law might catch up with her as Alexis Davis (temporarily played by Stephanie Erb) dialed 911, we knew she would never willingly give up that secret she’s been keeping from Willow for so long. However, Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) car had other ideas when it collided with Harmony as she ran out onto the road.

Still, Harmony seems determined enough to fight this little setback and live another day for Cadranel to wow us with her performance as a woman come undone after holding the thin threads of her fragile life of lies together for years.
