Coming up in Port Charles

Michael (Rory Gibson) enters a room and asks Kai (Jens Austin Astrup), “I hope I’m not interrupting anything.” He’s probably interrupting Kai, who’s realizing that he and Trina (Tabyana Ali) goofed up by dropping too many breadcrumbs in front of Willow (Katelyn MacMullen).

Jack (Chris McKenna) loses patience with Nina (Cynthia Watros) and asks, “Which daughter do you protect, Charlotte or Willow?” He doesn’t seem like he’s that bad of a guy, but if he had to go after one of them, it should be Willow.

Nevertheless, Nina’s going to have another breakdown if she doesn’t find at least a breadcrumb about Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to throw at him.

Meanwhile, Willow makes a shocking realization and wonders aloud, “How did Trina know…?” She’s clearly putting together the little pieces that Trina and Kai accidentally said out loud. The two of them are bumbling through this like amateur detectives trying to solve a murder with a flashlight that isn’t even turned on.

A teary-eyed Lucas (Van Hansis) asks Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), “Marco’s death was all for nothing?” She probably told him that her meds went into the sewer when Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) smashed them. But after talking about what happened, she and Lucas will finally start connecting the dots and likely realize that Jason (Steve Burton) is taking the fall for someone else.

Elsewhere, Ezra (Daniel Cosgrove) warns Laura (Genie Francis), “Sidwell’s son being murdered has changed everything.” Does this mean that they could use his grief as a diversion to get out from under the baddie’s thumb? Or will Sidwell (Carlo Rota) be on an even worse warpath than he already is, because nothing says “calm, rational decision-making” like a grieving villain with resources and a very specific grudge?

Speaking of which, Sidwell is obviously talking to Nathan (Ryan Paevey)…er, Cassius Faison…when he says, “You’ve done it brilliantly, and you have everyone fooled.” He will then issue new orders, likely about making sure Sonny (Maurice Benard) is arrested for Marco’s murder. Meanwhile, we can’t wait to hear the tale of how all this Nathan/Cassius drama came to be!
