Yeah, yeah, yeah Sonny Corinthos and Carly Benson are soulmates on General Hospital. She can’t live without him, he can’t live without her, a love like no other, blah, blah, blah. Why then, did the minute Sonny die, did Carly all but fling herself back at first love, Jason Morgan?
General Hospital Polling
And why did an amnesiac Sonny (Maurice Benard) develop feelings for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)? Feelings that didn’t go away once he remembered the old ball and chain back in Port Charles? Should Sonny continue exploring just how he feels about Nina now that Carly (Laura Wright) is done with him — again? What over 3,000 viewers had to tell us:
GH: Search and Destroy
No way, 73% of you are adamant. Those two are a danger — to each other, and to other people. Everywhere they go, destruction follows. Not only do they make each other miserable, they make Carly miserable. And when Carly is miserable, so is anyone foolish enough to get within 30 feet of her. Sonny and Nina need to cool it. For the good of humanity.
General Hospital: Hug it Out
Sonny needs to face his feelings for Nina, so he can finally get them out of his system, a much smaller 14% of the audience counters. Once he really considers the possibility of a future with her, he will realize that there is nothing there — well, nothing compared to the eternal love he shares with Carly.
GH: Good News
This could be great, a minority 13% cheer. Sonny and Carly are so past their sell-by date. Talk about people who only hurt each other leaving the rest of the world to deal with the repercussions. Nina may be crazy, but she’s been less crazy with Sonny than she ever was on her own, and he’s been less crazy with her than with Carly. A win-win!
