Friday’s “General Hospital” showcased some sensational scenes between Rebecca Herbst, Rebecca Budig, and Michael Easton as Hayden tried to save Finn’s life, and Liz refused to mind her business–as always
Hayden’s Disguise
Hayden (Rebecca Budig) did what many GH characters before her have done–she pretended to be a doctor to misbehave! Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) came upon someone in scrubs and a surgical mask rifling through a bin at the nurse’s station. Luckily, Dr. Mays called Elizabeth away before she could figure out the woman in scrubs was her arch enemy.
When Elizabeth left, Hayden looked up and we knew from her eyes she accomplished what she set out to do.
But Then…The Confrontation
Once Hayden changed back into “street wear,” Liz found her. It’s always a pleasure to watch this duo quarrel because they’re so good at it! Elizabeth grilled Hayden, cool as a cucumber, while Hayden answered with frantic anger.
We could practically taste Hayden’s anguish as an unaware Elizabeth wouldn’t let up. If Nurse Webber knew her enemy was trying to save someone’s life, would she have behaved otherwise? No. She likely wouldn’t have believed her.
Budig’s face went white when Elizabeth smugly said, “I heard what you said to Dr. Finn…I knew it. I’m on to something.” Herbst played this with a smidge of likability, so we didn’t throw something at our screens.
Hayden Hesitates Giving Finn His Shot
When we saw Finn (Michael Easton) laying near death on his jail cell floor, we knew it was only the beginning. As Finn tumbled to the ground, after telling the prison guard he would be okay, we cringed.

Hayden and Finn’s anxiousness was palpable as she arrived. When he told her he lost feeling in his hands and she needed to inject him, the adorable fear on her face had an underlying sweetness.
Finn pulled it together and walked Hayden through the process of injecting him. Easton’s hand trembled, but the injection thankfully worked.
Hayden tenderly stroked Finn’s hair as he slowly came back. We could see her diamond ring as she talked about her nanny doing the same when she was young. We then knew Hayden wasn’t just a spoiled rich girl.
Finn rose up from the floor slowly and said, “You were the only chance I had.” Hayden looked truly touched to hear these words. Someone needed her.
