Monday’s General Hospital is so chock full of goodness that the show couldn’t fit it all in and some wonderful scenes ended up on the proverbial cutting room floor.
General Hospital Deleted Scenes
But now you can see those scenes thanks to GH tweeting them so you don’t miss a moment. One scene is a conversation between Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) on what to do about Julian, interrupted by Laura (Genie Francis), who needs some comfort from her son.
They are waiting on news about Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Laura is trying to be strong. Does Nikolas know exactly what is really going on, or did Ava only tell him part of Julian’s saga?
Then we get a gem of a Quartermaine scene with Tracy (Jane Elliot) calling Monica (Leslie Charleson) from the airport to lament the fact that Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) is attempting — gasp! — a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving. Well, we all know how that goes in the Q house, including Tracy. There is no way the turkey will come out right and everyone will end up eating pizza because that’s just the way it is.
Monica explains that it was Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) who wanted something normal for Rocco, seeing that his mother is in a coma and may never wake up. Olivia is doing this for her grandson and nothing is going to stop her.
Tracy insists that Olivia should be at the hospital for Lulu and not cooking, insisting Monica be the voice of reason. Then Tracy hangs up, but it looks pretty clear she is headed for Port Charles and a disaster of a family dinner. While we may not see the phone call scene on your TV screens today, you can see the deleted scenes in the tweets below. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
