When Sonny Corinthos lost his memory on General Hospital, he thought he was a wholesome, good-hearted, jack of all trades named Mike, who worked in a diner and fell for a woman named Nina Reeves.
General Hospital Feelings of Love
Then Sonny (Maurice Benard) regained his memory and went running back to wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). But what about Nina (Cynthia Watros)? Does he still have residual feelings for her? What over 2,000 fans suspect:
Well, Duh
Almost half of you, 49%, think it’s the most obvious thing in the world. Look at Sonny’s face whenever Nina walks into the room – or when her name even comes up in conversation. Just because he remembered his love for Carly and their kids doesn’t mean he’s forgotten how he felt about Nina for all those months.
Sure, she kept his identity a secret. But Sonny actually liked being Mike…and the life they were both living. He can’t just throw it away like it never happened. This isn’t one of his famous one-night, pregnancy-inducing stands. This involved pasta sauce!
Not Me on General Hospital
Sonny doesn’t have time to pine after Nina, 34% of the audience points out. Not when he’s still dealing with the feelings Carly developed for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) while Sonny was “dead.”
Wait till he finally admits to himself that Carly didn’t exactly “develop” those feelings. She’s always had them. From long before she ever met or first had hate sex with Sonny. He’s got to deal with all that before he can even consider whether he too may have cheated emotionally. And is still doing it.
Love Of My Life
Nope, a last place 17% shrug. Sonny loves only Carly. Not Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil). Not Connie Falconeri. Not Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero). Not Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). And certainly never, ever Nina.
