It feels as if Finn has been looking for a cure to his own mystery disease for years, but that could be because Michael Easton is playing his fifth General Hospital character. Of course, it’s been under a year since Hamilton Finn arrived on the PC scene, but ever since then, it’s been all about keeping him alive.
While he seemed like a heroin addict at first, we knew it had to be something more, and we knew that bearded dragon was the key. What a surprise this week (NOT!) when Finn had an epiphany as Roxy shed her skin, making room for something fresh and new.
Tomorrow, he enlists Brad’s (Parry Shen) help in the lab and next week, he thinks he has the magic cure for poor Hayden (Rebecca Budig), who is rapidly deteriorating with the same disease.
Finn (Michael Easton) already watched his wife die from this, and he’s kept himself alive with regular doses of what he needs to sustain him.
According to the December 26 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Hayden is reaching the end and Finn has no time to test the drug before using it.
While Hayden urges him to use it on himself, he just wants to save her life and tells her injecting it means she either lives or dies.
Desperate, he does the deed, but does it work? We’re willing to bet the answer is “yes” and maybe this romance can finally get on the road if it works on Finn next. Now, that would certainly be a Port Charles Christmas miracle.
