SAM–SCREAM, You’re In LABOR!!!!

Ladies, if you’ve ever had a baby, you know one thing for sure. Labor freaking HURTS!!! Even if you have an epidural, you know those initial contractions can be a b**ch and screaming is one of the only ways to get through.

Apparently, for Sam on General Hospital–who needs to scream when you can just breathe–while lying at the bottom of a bridge on a winter night?

We know Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) been through it all and is superwoman, but somehow she seems to get herself in these precarious situations.

After watching her on Liz’s basement floor for two weeks a year ago while mumbling to herself, one would think this year’s February predicament that involves contractions in the cold would produce more than just some mumbling. Perhaps being LOUD would help.

Who even has to think about being loud while in labor when there’s no handy pain meds (like a soothing epidural) available? The screaming should come naturally. But, not for Sam. Instead, she hears Jason (Billy Miller) screaming for her and thinks she can channel her presence through Lamaze breathing.

Yes, we sat there with our jaws dropped today as the contractions came one on top of the other, Jason yelled for his wife frantically, and Sam just softly moaned and breathed. Girl, what are you doing?

Scream your head off, for pity’s sake. Jason isn’t going to find you if you pretend you’re in that birthing class you wanted so bad. This should not be hard. Labor + no epidural + freezing cold + bottom of a bridge = SCREAM YOUR HEAD OFF!!!

We sure hope Sam decides to get loud tomorrow, or we give up. We want that Jasam baby to be born happy and healthy with both parents present, which means, SAM BETTER GET LOUD–NOW!!!
