Ryan’s Reign: Are You Ready For The Destruction on General Hospital?

It’s time for the terrible twos again on General Hospital, and we don’t mean toddler time.

Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) is locked up in a straight-jacket, and his evil twin, Ryan (a more smarmy Jon Lindstrom), is roaming around Port Charles, fooling Kevin’s ex-wife, Lucy (Lynn Herring), anticipating the return of Kevin’s current wife, Laura (Genie Francis), and obsessing over his traditional object, Felicia (Kristina Wagner).

And maybe even no-longer-a-baby Maxie (Kirsten Storms), too.

Wherever Ryan arrives, a reign of terror is sure to follow. Are you looking forward to it? Over 7,000 had this to say.

Not really, 80% sigh. Port Charles already has its fill of sociopaths. There’s Franco (Roger Howarth). There’s Julian (William deVry). There’s Ava (Maura West) and Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Peter (Wes Ramsey) and Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), not to mention their enablers like Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Carly (Laura Wright).

Frankly, Ryan, there’s no room at the crazy inn. What could you possibly do that someone before you hasn’t done, or isn’t currently in the process of doing?

What we need in Port Charles is a good guy like Kevin, not yet another criminal. Although, frankly, you’re too late, man. This isn’t the GH you left. There are no more shocking crimes left for you to commit.

Bring It On
On the other hand, a more optimistic 20% can’t wait for the carnage to start. The current sociopaths are getting kind of dull. Just how many people can Sonny kill and then explain it was only for the noblest of reasons?

At least with Ryan comes the possibility of a villain who doesn’t end up as a romantic lead and World’s Best (Step)dad. Maybe he’s a bad guy who people will actually agree is bad – and beyond reform. Bring it, Ryan!
