Cesar Faison’s litany of evil has made him General Hospital’s most notorious villain.
Year after year, decade after decade, he’s popped up in Port Charles to kidnap, terrorize, and kill the town’s citizens. Then, Faison (Anders Hove) quickly disappears… until the next time.
For those who might have forgotten the bad things he’s done since first surfacing in 1990, here’s a list of Faison’s most dastardly crimes.
Crazy for You
Faison has kidnapped his obsession, Anna (Finola Hughes), on numerous occasions, always hoping she’d come to her senses and return his affections. Not surprisingly, it’s never worked. Nor did adding her daughter Robin (Kimberly McCullough) to his abduction list when she was just a child.
Deadly Attack
While plotting to unleash biological warfare on Port Charles, Faison sent operatives into ELQ.
He forced Paul Hornsby to marry Tracy Quartermaine to gain control of her company’s assets and poisoned his daughter, Susan, as well as Sean Donely’s wife, Tiffany, to keep both men in line. In the end, Faison’s cartel was brought down and his plan of attack was averted.
Up in Flames
Faison teamed up with Helena Cassadine and began wreaking havoc on her favorite target: the Spencer family. She had him abduct Lucky and leave Luke, Laura, and Elizabeth to believe he’d been killed in a tragic fire. While everyone mourned Lucky’s death, he was being held hostage and brainwashed to forget everyone he knew and loved.
Killer Explosion
When a lab explosion rocked the hospital, Robin (Kimberly McCullough) was presumed dead. Years later, it was revealed that Faison had orchestrated the heinous plot and was holding her captive along with Anna’s beloved ex, Duke (Ian Buchanan). Meanwhile, Faison disguised himself as Duke in yet another effort to win over Anna, but ended up being unmasked by Robert (Tristan Rogers).
The Jason Switcheroo
After luring Jason (Steve Burton) to the docks, Faison shot him and kicked his body into the river. While all of Port Charles mourned Jason’s loss, he had been taken to a Russian clinic where he was drugged and held hostage – for five years.
In the interim, Jason’s twin, Drew (Billy Miller), was captured, had his memories erased and Jason’s implanted into his brain, and was sent to take over his brother’s life. The switcheroo finally ended, when Jason escaped and returned home.
