The General Hospital recap features Portia holding her peace and not speaking up about the reason she should not have married Curtis Ashford just yet.
In this episode, Portia (Brook Kerr) took her vows with some hesitancy while still keeping a big secret from her groom, Curtis. Jordan went to check on Stella as she wondered if she did the right thing by not telling the truth. Then, Stella got a visit from Trina. At Spring Ridge, Heather had an escape plan ready, but Ryan found holes in it. Finally, Sam and Dante finally found Maggie the Nanny in England but didn’t realize it was really her.
Nobody objected to Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr) getting married, so Laura (Genie Francis) continued with the ceremony. When it came time for Portia to say her personally-written vows, she stopped for a moment and looked as if she was about to tell Curtis the truth. Instead, she stopped herself and explained that she was overwhelmed by the idea of marrying into such a great family. After they exchanged rings, Portia and Curtis were pronounced man and wife, so they continued to the Metro Court for their reception.
Drew (Cameron Mathison) felt right at home as the smiling MC getting everyone to dance and party, while some of our favorite pairs shared a little romance, including Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Nina (Cynthia Watros), and Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). After dancing with both Taggert (Réal Andrews) and Curtis, Spencer asked Trina to dance, and all she could do was lament the fact that Stella (Vernee Watson) wasn’t there.
In her hotel room, Stella and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) commiserated about the fact that Curtis is marrying a woman who is keeping a massive secret from him, but they weren’t going to be the ones to tell him. Stella was later surprised when Spencer and Trina showed up at her door.
Heather (Alley Mills) gave Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) the perfect Valentine that she made in arts and crafts and also showed him the knife she managed to get a hold of when she wasn’t allowed to use scissors. She explained her plan to take pregnant amnesiac Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) and break out of there but told Ryan he should be the one to hold the knife. He suspected it was so that if they are caught, he is the one who has the weapon and would get in trouble.

Ryan wondered what they would do if Esme didn’t want to come with them, but Heather didn’t seem to think that would be a problem as she dreamed of them all driving along the countryside with an RV and a baby. However, Ryan insisted they needed to make a stop before getting on the road, and we bet they need to take a boat to get to this spot.
Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) visited a British pub that looked remarkably like the burned-down Tan-O in Nixon Falls, PA. They asked some questions of the bartender and wondered if she ever knew a woman named Maggie Fitzgerald who worked as a nanny. She said she once knew a woman named Marjorie who would stop in for trivia nights, but the bartender herself admitted she knew nothing about trivia. However, Sam knew she was lying when she was able to rattle off the names of all the Spice Girls without even thinking.
Once Sam and Dante left, the bartender opened a lockbox full of letters from Esme and wondered aloud what the young woman had gotten herself into, considering the fact that she warned her to stay away from her father.
