Nina Reeves Has A Special Gift For Daughter Willow

In this episode, Nina (Cynthia Watros) offered an olive branch to an unreceptive Willow, while Michael tried to stop Willow from talking about what happens after she dies. At Wyndemere, Ava was ready to move a body, and Austin tried to talk her out of it. Finn once again tried convincing Elizabeth not to go to the police, and Elizabeth had to tell him a hard truth. Portia and Curtis’s wedding day also arrived as Portia did her best to keep her whopper of a secret out of her mind. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

General Hospital Recap: Willow Rejects Nina Reeves

As Nina talked the Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) situation through with Sonny (Maurice Benard), she came to the realization that she had something in her possession that might make Willow feel better emotionally. Although she said she was going to leave Willow alone, she felt compelled to visit her but got a very cold reception from the dying young woman.

After Nina told Willow she was sorry about the stem cell situation and that her bone marrow was not a match, Willow told her she makes everything about her as if other people Willow is nice to have not said the same things over the last few days. Nina admitted that she now knew two things were not about her — the two half-heart necklaces Madeline (Donna Mills) had made. Nina realized that they were meant for both Willow and Nelle to keep the twin girls connected. Willow refused to even look at the necklace and turned away from Nina, who left both hearts by Willow’s bedside.

Before and after Nina’s visit, Willow spent her time trying to convince Michael (Chad Duell) to go on without her. She finally asked Michael to marry her on her deathbed.

GH Recap: Ava Jerome And Elizabeth’s Dilemmas

Now that she pretty much has an accomplice, Ava (Maura West) got Austin (Roger Howarth) over to Wyndemere as fast as he could get there so they could get to work moving Nikolas’s (Adam Huss) body. Before they got a chance to make it to the stables, an angry Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) showed up, asking where his father is. Ava told the lie she has been telling everyone — that she and Nikolas argued, and then he left town.

After Spencer took off, Austin still didn’t seem keen on moving the body and convinced Ava they should wait until after Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia’s (Brook Kerr) wedding, to keep up appearances, of course.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) told Finn (Michael Easton) all about Nikolas leaving town, and he said this was more reason than ever to just let the whole thing go and not confess to the police what happened with Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl).

He even saw a lawyer for her to get some advice. That’s when Elizabeth had to break things to Finn gently. She didn’t need a hero and never did, and that was the whole problem between them — Finn wanted to play hero when that is not what she wanted. She finally convinced Finn to allow her to make her own decisions and planned to call Scott the next day before turning herself in.

General Hospital Recap: A Wedding Day Arrives

It was finally time for Curtis and Portia’s wedding, and everyone had their own bit of drama to deal with. Marshall (Robert Gossett) asked Drew (Cameron Mathison) to make sure he didn’t have a meltdown during the festivities, while Portia relented and told Trina she could invite Spencer as her date.

Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Portia also shared a sentimental moment as Trina gave her mom a medical medallion that belonged to Dr. Priscilla Johnson, the doctor she ‘met’ in 2020 on Election Day when the Port Charles women were transported back to the suffrage era and fans learned how important it is to cherish your vote.

Finally, Portia was ready to walk down the aisle, but Jordan (Tanisha Harper) showed up to burst her bubble and talk about the big Trina paternity secret.
