The General Hospital recap features Lucy Coe learning that the Nurses Ball is being planned without her.
In this episode, Lucy drove Anna and Valentin crazy and then went crazy herself when Felicia brought some news. Also, Victor had some performance issues that Eileen couldn’t wait to tell someone about. Curtis spread the word to the other women in his life about his new marriage being on the rocks while Trina told Ava all about her mother’s secret. Sasha paid a visit to Cody at the Quartermaine stables and he left her quite curious. Finally, Gladys sold something that wasn’t hers, and Sonny wanted to hear all about it. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
Lucy (Lynn Herring) spent time driving Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) crazy in the safe house with her coffee habits and her hot water usage. But it turned out Anna and Valentin’s romantic moments drove Lucy crazy because she could only think of Martin (Michael E. Knight), who was out of town visiting his mother.

Felicia (Kristina Wagner) spent her morning with Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) and as soon as Maxie learned that the hospital was turning 60, she decided there had to be a Nurses Ball and immediately lined up sponsors. She even managed to recruit Bobbie as her co-chair, and Bobbie thought the job would be much easier than Lucy ever made it out to be.
When Felicia arrived at the safe house, she mentioned Maxie’s plans, and Lucy lost her mind. She couldn’t believe she had to stay in hiding while Maxie and Bobbie dared to plan a Nurses Ball without her. She noted how much work it is and wondered if she’d even be there.
Meanwhile, Anna heard from Eileen (Heather Mazur) and sent Laura (Genie Francis) to meet with her deputy to see what Eileen had to say. Laura didn’t want details about Victor’s (Charles Shaughnessy) sex life but got to learn that Victor couldn’t seem to give Eileen the night that he expected and was quite upset about it. However, he was interested in an unredacted report of Holly’s (Emma Samms) cabin explosion, so Laura decided they would give him one.
Curtis (Donnell Turner) showed up at the Metro Court to refund Nina (Cynthia Watros) the money spent on comping his wedding night room but ran into Selina (Lydia Look) first. She wanted to know if he liked her wedding gift, but Curtis didn’t have happy things to say about his marriage. He later informed Nina of Portia’s (Brook Kerr) big secret and didn’t know if he could forgive her lies.
Nina told him she has also lied so she wouldn’t lose someone she loved so she could understand where Portia was coming from. She also advised him to not push Trina (Tabyana Ali) for a DNA test the way she was learning not to push Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) for a relationship.
At the gallery, Trina and Ava (Maura West) caught up, and Ava was shocked to hear that there is now a question about Trina’s paternity. Ava can also understand telling lies to protect one’s child and tried to get Trina to agree to take a DNA test just so she knows the truth. She also assured her that no matter the results, her bond with Taggert would not be broken.
Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) sold Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) garage to Selina and Sonny (Maurice Benard) watched the entire transaction go down. Once Gladys was alone, he asked her what she was doing with Selina. Gladys admitted she got a good price for the garage. Sonny agreed she made a good deal, but only if Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was okay with it.
Sasha paid a visit to Cody (Josh Kelly) at the Q stables and thanked him for not ratting her out to the desk sergeant when she pretended to be Heather’s (Alley Mills) lawyer. She said losing it on Heather felt cathartic, and she was now in a better place. She even brought Cody a gift of biscotti. After Cody offered for Sasha to ride horses on the Q estate, he mentioned he doesn’t have a car, but she doesn’t have a garage anymore. Sasha wanted to know what the heck he was talking about.
