In the September 10 episode of General Hospital, it was the day after Anna tried to kill Britt, and the latter was on the warpath. Britt wasted no time filling in Lucas on what went down as she screamed about no one having compassion for her. Lucas was a true friend to Britt, even though she didn’t like what he said.

Key Takeaways

  • Britt has a right to be mad.
  • Lucas showed up for Britt with some brutal honesty.
  • Why Lucas is the best person to help Britt now.

Britt Went on a Tirade

It’s been fun to watch Lucas (Van Hansis) and Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) friendship grow. Britt and Lucas don’t treat each other with kid gloves, which was exactly what happened when she revealed to him that Anna (Finola Hughes) tried to kill her.

Lucas listened as Britt went on a tirade, especially when Britt faced off with Emma (Braedyn Bruner). The latter wanted Britt to have compassion for her grandmother. In true Britch fashion, the opposite happened.

However, the more Britt went all in on Anna, the more Emma and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) didn’t feel bad for Britt. In fact, Felicia had to remind Britt of the many chances she had received.

Lucas Told Britt Like It Is

In her office, Britt went off on how no one had any compassion for her or what she had been through. Britt even managed to throw an insult at Lucas, who had followed her.

Lucas then gave Britt a reality check. Britt was looking for something she rarely gave to others. He also reminded her of everything Anna had been through in the past year.

While they had some funny banter mixed in with their attitude and truth bombs, Lucas made it clear to Britt that he understood the trauma she experienced. The moment seemed to have an impact on Britt, even if her attitude toward Anna didn’t soften.

The One Person Britt Needed

Britt has certainly placed herself in a position where people don’t have sympathy for her, even in the most traumatic times. Luca,s though, has proven more than once to be someone Britt can count on and who will have her back.

It’s no secret that Britt’s short on friends. As Emma said, Britt’s behavior hasn’t earned her many pals over the years, other than Brad (Parry Shen).

Lucas has stepped up for Britt more than once recently. Their friendship came out of the blue, but somewhere in between slinging mud, they developed a brutally honest bond that is what Britt needs most now.

Britt’s dealing with the trauma Anna caused her in the only way she knows how: to lash out. Lucas found a way to explain that to her. His giving her a “Britch Pass” was hilarious, and the tough love that helped Britt see beyond her fear.

There’s no question Britt won’t go easy on Anna, especially once she learns Jason (Steve Burton) cleaned up the crime scene. As she navigates this ordeal, Britt will need Lucas, and he just showed her he will be there with brutal honesty.
